CDI Background

Africa, like other emerging markets, is known for its natural wealth and potential, though challenges such as investment security, market maturity, ease of doing business, continuity, and sustainability have often hindered international capital.

To address these challenges, Carpe Diem Investments has developed a strategic operational model that fosters an internal customer approach, with investments and projects tailored to achieve maximum, circular outcomes.

Carpe Diem’s Shared Services Centre (SSC) operates in Mauritius and Mozambique, serving as a customer-centric support service that extends the group’s business units. The SSC ensures investment optimization, cost reductions, improved and standardized service quality, communication, flexibility, and productivity.

By consolidating critical responsibilities across business units, the SSC manages both core and non-core activities. This well-defined infrastructure enables CDI to deliver higher value services, driving profitability, savings, and efficiencies that might otherwise remain elusive in a decentralized business model.

A future where CDI, its policies, organization, equity, people, scale, and impact continue to evolve in a culture of peace and an environment that fosters growth and development.
