The True North Group is a diversified Oil & Gas services provider in Mozambique that is uniquely positioned both during Force Majeure and once it is lifted. During the 2021 attacks, True North launched search and rescue operations using its boats and vehicles. Having demonstrated immediate logistical capability and the ability to operate in challenging environments, the Group was awarded the management contract for the project site during Force Majeure through a contract with TotalEnergies.
During Force Majeure, True North further cemented its strong commercial relationships with TotalEnergies, CCS JV (lead EPC firm) and subcontractors, and further consolidated its asset base. The Group operates eight different lines of business: Hospitality, Plant & Equipment hire, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Management (EPCM), Marine services, Logistics, Environmental & social management services, Port services and Dredging services. The Group has over $200m projected revenues in the pipeline with 50% already signed or in final stages of negotiation awaiting lifting of Force Majeure.
